We are pleased to inform you that TwinPlan GmbH & Co. KG has merged into Omniga GmbH & Co. KG.

Omniga GmbH & Co. KG is the legal successor of its former subsidiary, TwinPlan GmbH & Co. KG. All existing agreements will be assigned to Omniga GmbH & Co. KG automatically in their present form.

What will change?

Besides the name, nothing will change. The terms and conditions, the payments (including hot-button payments), your personal contact, tracking links, advertising policies, advertising, commissions and commission models remain completely unchanged with Omniga. IMPORTANT: alteration of advertising guidelines

Dear Affiliates

We would like to inform you of some current changes to our advertising guidelines in the areas of SEM/keyword advertising, the advertising placement environment, advertising materials and advertising texts.

Current "Advertising Guidelines" (Click here):

Compliance is required with the following stipulations in order to avoid any breach of rights in respect of the products advertised and in particular to prevent any brand or trademark infringement.

1. The area of SEM/keyword advertising (Google AdWords, Yahoo! Advertising, Bing, Mirago etc.).

The following actions are not permissible.

  • Providing a direct link to the product website via the display URL or the destination URL (e.g. to www.usenext.de, www.save.tv, etc.).
  • Integrating product websites via framing or hot linking. Hyperlinks should be used instead. Please contact us if you are in any doubt as to the permissibility of the method you are using.
  • The use of brand bidding (such as the use of "usenext" as a keyword or in the display text) remains prohibited , as does
  • The use of toplevel domains, e.g. UseNeXT or Save.TV, in the display or destination URL (e.g. www.usenext.com etc.).

You may use such vehicles as Google AdWords and similar providers to advertise UseNeXT, e.g. via your own web projects such as information or comparison sites on the topic of the "Usenet".

2. Area of advertising placement

The following actions are not permissible.

  • Designing the advertising placement environment in a manner which is not in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions. The advertising placement environment must in particular be in accordance with Clause 8 of our General Terms and Conditions.
  • Materials presented within the advertising placement environment must not infringe the rights of third parties or breach any other laws or our General Terms and Conditions (Clause 8.2 of our General Terms and Conditions).
  • The following website examples constitute possible breaches:
    • Warez pages (Emule, ed2k, Torrent, direct download, direct download search engines, kazaa, etc.)
    • Any kind of file hosting service/share hosting service
    • Link/file spreaders, file services
    • Top lists which provide links to sites which do not conform to the law
    • Websites with pornographic content, content unsuitable for minors, National Socialist content, warmongering content or content likely to incite hatred

3. Area of advertising materials and texts

The following actions are not permissible.

  • Designing banners and tests and using banners and texts to advertise the partner programme the contents of which infringe the rights of third parties or breach any other laws or our General Terms and Conditions (Clauses 9.1, 9.6 of our General Terms and Conditions)
  • Registering domains for advertising purposes which contain product or brand names of products advertised by TwinPlan The above also applies to selfdesigned destination sites where the intention is to advertise using product or brand names (e.g. product comparison sites etc. ; see also "keyword advertising").

The following actions are permissible:

  • Selfdesigned banner and texts - although these may not be used without the written agreement of TwinPlan. In order to avoid any possible breaches, we would ask you to contact us with your proposals before using or integrating any advertising banners and texts which you have designed yourself.

Advertising materials which we have already authorised are available in your personal member area under the menu item "Advertising materials".

Satisfaction survey - prize draw

Dear Affiliates

We would like to express our gratitude that so many of you participated in our survey staged between 21 October 2010 and 31 October 2010.

The aim of the survey was to find out your views on our support, on commissions and on the statistics provided in order to use such information as the basis for the further alignment of our partner programme developments.

Evaluation and responses were based on the German school mark system, which operates on a scale of 1 (very good) to 6 (unsatisfactory). In overall average terms across all categories, we were graded as "good". We were, of course, delighted to receive such a result and would like to thank you once again.

The answers given to the open questions indicated that many of you would like to receive more information with regard to SubID export. A number of respondents also suggested a sorting function for the advertising materials campaigns display. Some functions requested are already available. For this reason, we will revise the guides we provide on such subjects as "Important information on SubID" and our "FAQ's".

We wish to implement the proposals you have made and have set ourselves the first quarter of 2011 as a goal for doing so. We will, of course, inform you as soon as the aspects you suggested have been actioned.

Unfortunately, all recipients of this email who took part in the iPad prize draw have not been successful on this occasion. The winner has already been notified personally.

Technical changes to the advertising material

Dear Affiliates,

Since the end of September, TwinPlan has been offering its partners the very latest advertising material technology "JavaScript" for all html advertising codes.

Unfortunately, we have discovered that not all partners have replaced their "old" codes with the "new" codes.

Exchanging the codes will enhance the level of convenience for you:

  • better information thanks to much better view tracking
  • automatic update whenever the advertising material is updated
  • no need for manual code adjustment by partners when there are changes

We would once again wish to draw your attention to the fact that the previous advertising codes are only valid for a short transitional period.

The new codes are on display for you in the members’ section under the advertising material you have created. Please note that the exchange of codes is very important and necessary for ensuring that the changeover proceeds smoothly. You should therefore exchange the old codes for the new advertising codes by 23 October 2009 at the latest.

Technical changes affecting advertisements

Dear Affiliates,

All TwinPlan partners can now benefit from the latest advertising technology!

We are now offering JavaScript technology for all .html advertisement codes. Not only will this make advertising more convenient, you will also receive better information thanks to greatly improved view tracking.

More importantly, you will no longer need to do anything if your advertisement needs to be updated or changed!

When an update is carried out, the advertisement will automatically be updated on all websites which carry it. This means that if changes are made in the future you will no longer need to reenter the code. It will be changed automatically instead.

The old advertisement codes will remain valid for a certain period. However, we ask that you replace your previous codes with the new ones as soon as possible in order to ensure that the changeover goes smoothly.

You will find the new codes under your advertisements in the members’ area. To take full advantage of these benefits, please replace your current codes with the new ones by Friday, 9 October 2009 at the latest!

On Thursday, June 18th 2009, it’s time again: Having started in 2007, explido WebMarketing is organizing the Affiliate TactixX for the third time. Save.TV wins Federal Courts of Justice proceedings!

On 22 April 2009, the Federal Court of Justice reversed the judgement of Dresden Higher Regional Court against Save.TV Ltd., in which Save.TV Ltd. was initially prohibited from operating the Save.TV online service. The appeal by Save.TV against the judgement of the Dresden Higher Regional court was therefore successful. A final clarification of the previously unclear legal position was achieved. The television broadcaster, RTL, had previously filed an action for injunction against Save.TV due to possible copyright violations.

After the Dresden Higher Regional Court had largely followed the view of RTL, the Federal Court of Justice has now decided (File No. I ZR 175/07) that a legally admissible structure for the service absolutely exists. After the official press release of the Federal Court of Justice on the judgement allowed various interpretations regarding the judgement, at the request of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), the Federal Court of Justice judge dealing with the case, Thomas Koch, clarified that the admissibility of online video recorders depends on the technical implementation. If a broadcast is automatically saved and exclusively passed on to a recipient, such a service is admissible. Whether this is the case with Save.TV now still needs to be clarified by the Dresden Higher Regional Court, to which the case was referred.

The Managing Director of Save.TV Ltd., Thomas Kutsch, emphasised that the Save.TV service is structured in precisely this way. This was also already described and explained in the previous instances. Recordings are individually set up by the customer after their programming, automatically saved and exclusively passed on to him. To this extent, Save.TV precisely corresponds to specifications of the Federal Court of Justice and will therefore also offer its service in future. For the advertising partners of Save.TV, this means that they can count on Save.TV in the future and can advertise a strong and innovative product.

From now on, you can offer the UseNeXT Free Trial Client with a 1 gigabyte download volume for direct downloading on your website!

All the user needs to do in order to use the Free Trial Client is to give their e-mail address!

Here’s how it works…

  • The user downloads the Free Trial Client from your website and installs it on their PC.
  • After giving their e-mail address, they will receive their personal access data via e-mail.
  • The test phase for the Free Trial Client will expire 14 days after installation or as soon as the 1 gigabyte download volume is exhausted.
  • After clicking on the “Order” button / after the test phase has expired / after the download volume has been exhausted, the user will be taken to the UseNeXT product page in order to register.
  • A lead will be generated for you as soon as the user registers for the “regular” UseNeXT test package.
Where can you obtain the download link?

  • Click on “Creatives” in the menu in the members' area.
  • You will find the UseNeXT Free Trial Client under “text / direct links” respectively "special sizes" / ”TOP New Creatives”.
  • Click on “Create Advertising Action”.
  • Copy and paste the generated advertising media code into your website.
  • As soon as you click on the advertising medium, the Free Trial Client download will be launched!
